# Getting started

## 1. Open the bot

Send `/start` in Telegram. Your wallets are created on first use:

* a **Solana** wallet, and
* an **EVM** wallet — one `0x` address that is yours on **BSC**, **Robinhood Chain** and **Arc**.

You do not import anything and you do not paste a seed phrase anywhere. Keys are held by a third-party custody provider, not by us and not on your phone, and every transaction the bot signs passes a pre-sign validator first — the bot can only sign the operations it is allowed to sign. If you ever want to hold a key yourself, `/export` hands it to you — see [Withdrawals & account security](/withdrawals-and-account-security.md).

## 2. Fund a wallet

The first screen shows your deposit addresses. Send funds on the chain you want to copy on:

| Chain | Send | Network |
| --------------- | ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------ |
| Solana | SOL, or USDC | Solana |
| BSC | BNB, or Binance-Peg USDC | BNB Smart Chain |
| Robinhood Chain | ETH, or USDG | **Robinhood Chain** — not Ethereum mainnet |
| Arc | USDC | Arc (USDC is Arc's native coin) |

USDT, a stablecoin from another chain, or a bridged variant is not credited as the stablecoin. Already holding funds on one chain? `/bridge` moves them to another — including in from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism or Polygon.

Leave headroom. Every trade costs network fees on top of the trade itself. On Solana the bot keeps a small SOL reserve back so your positions can always pay for their own exit; on BSC, Robinhood and Arc it keeps a **gas reserve** in the chain's native coin and refuses buys below it. A wallet sitting at exactly your trade size will skip copies with `not enough balance`.

More on all of this in [Wallet & funding](/wallet-and-funding.md) and [Chains](/chains.md).

## 3. Pick your trading asset

Next the bot points you to **🪙 Trading asset**. You can skip it: nothing has to be chosen now. Gas-sponsored stablecoin trading (no native coin needed for fees) is shown as *coming soon* and is not live yet, so for now keep each chain on its native coin and hold that coin for network fees. Details in [Trade settings](/trade-settings.md).

## 4. Answer the PIN question

Then the bot asks whether you want a **withdrawal PIN**. It is optional, and the answer is a tap — 🔒 Set a PIN or Skip. Nothing is chosen for you.

What the PIN does: adds one more step in front of **changing your withdrawal address** — the move someone who got into your Telegram would have to make. It is never asked for when you withdraw to the address you already verified, and it is never asked for to trade. It also lets you skip the 24-hour wait on a key export.

What it does not change: your money can only ever be sent to one address per chain, the one you verify yourself, and changing that address sends you a notification and, with the default 24-hour cooldown on, takes 24 hours to unlock. That holds whether or not you set a PIN.

Skip it now and add one later with `/pin`. Details on [Withdrawals & account security](/withdrawals-and-account-security.md).

## 5. Set a withdrawal address

`/address` — set it before you need it. Each chain has its own withdrawal address.

**With the cooldown on (the default), a newly set withdrawal address cannot be used for 24 hours.** This is deliberate — it is what stops someone who has taken over your Telegram account from swapping the payout address and draining you immediately. Set it early so the cooldown is behind you.

## 6. Add your first follow

`/copytrade` (or 🚀 Copytrade on the menu), then a handle or a wallet address. You make these decisions:

| Decision | Options | Covered in |
| -------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| **Chain** — only if the trader is on more than one | One chain, or All | [Following traders](/following-traders.md) |
| **Mode** — what closes the position | Buy & Hold (default), Auto-Exit (recommended), Mirror | [Following traders](/following-traders.md) |
| **Sizing** — how big your copy is | 💵 Fixed $, 📊 % of balance, ⚖️ Proportional | [Following traders](/following-traders.md) |
| **Triggers** — take profit / stop loss | Presets, ✏️ Custom, or ⏭ Skip | [Exits](/exits.md) |
| **Name** — what you call this trader | Anything up to 32 characters, or ⏭ Skip | [Following traders](/following-traders.md) |

Defaults are sane. You do not have to touch [Trade settings](/trade-settings.md) to start.

One thing to know before you skip the triggers: the default mode, **Buy & Hold, sells nothing on its own.** With no take profit or stop loss set, nothing closes those positions except you, from 📊 Positions. The wizard says this on the screen where you choose.

## 7. Watch the first few copies

You get a receipt for every fill, and every skip is recorded. Check `/positions` for what you hold and `/history` for what happened to each copy. If nothing is filling, the reason is always written down — go to [Why didn't my copy fill?](/why-didnt-my-copy-fill.md). Too many warnings? `/mutewarnings` silences them; receipts still arrive.
