# Fees

## What MoFo charges

**1% of the trade, with a $0.15 minimum.** You pay whichever is larger. It's the same on every chain: Solana, BSC, Robinhood Chain and Arc.

The two meet at $15 of trade size. Below $15 you pay the $0.15 floor. Above it you pay 1%.

| Your trade | Fee |
| ---------- | ------ |
| $5 | $0.15 |
| $15 | $0.15 |
| $100 | $1.00 |
| $1,000 | $10.00 |

**You pay it on both sides.** On a buy, the fee comes out of your trade size and the swap spends the rest. The total never goes above what your sizing decided. On a sell, the fee is 1% of what the swap actually paid out (or $0.15, whichever is larger).

**Every trade the bot makes for you pays it.** That covers copied buys and sells, your own [Exits](/exits.md) (TP, SL, trailing and the rest), and sells you start from 📊 Positions. Trades you make yourself with an exported key aren't seen by the bot and aren't charged.

**Skips and failures cost nothing.** A copy that didn't fill pays no fee. See [Why didn't my copy fill?](/why-didnt-my-copy-fill.md).

**A fee never eats the whole trade.** If the fee would be as big as the trade itself, no fee is charged. For example, the $0.15 floor on a $0.10 copy means that copy pays nothing. If the price of the coin you're paying with can't be read at that moment, the $0.15 floor is dropped and you pay the plain 1%.

## Which asset it's paid in

The fee is taken in whatever you traded with:

| You trade with | Fee paid in |
| ----------------------------------------- | ----------------------- |
| Your wallet's native coin (SOL, BNB, ETH) | That coin |
| USDC (USDG on Robinhood Chain) | That stablecoin |
| Arc | USDC, Arc's native coin |

The fee rate is the same whichever you trade with. Stablecoin trading on Solana and BSC comes with gas sponsorship, which isn't live yet — see [Trade settings](/trade-settings.md).

## How it's collected

Where the route allows, **the fee is paid inside the same transaction as the swap**. You get one transaction and one network fee, and the fee settles at the same moment as the fill. This is how Solana buys and sells work. On BSC, Robinhood Chain and Arc it works this way on supported routes.

When a route can't carry the fee, the trade still goes through and the fee is collected afterwards in a separate transfer from your wallet. If your wallet can't cover it at that point, the fee waits until it can. It's never taken out of an exit you're making.

**Closing your account with fees still owed.** `/close` tells you the amount: "ℹ️ You owe $X in platform fees". That much stays in the wallet to cover them, and the rest goes to your address. If the balance can't cover both, you get paid first and the fee waits.

**Seeing what you paid.** The `/history` header totals "Fees on these fills" for the rows shown.

## What else you pay

MoFo doesn't set these costs. The network and the trading venue do.

| Cost | Who takes it |
| -------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Network (gas) fee | Solana / BSC / Robinhood Chain / Arc |
| Priority fee | Validators. You set the tier in [Trade settings](/trade-settings.md) |
| Swap fees and price impact | The DEX or liquidity pool |
| Creator or launchpad fees | Some launchpad coins charge their own |
| Token taxes | Some coins tax every buy or sell. The bot skips coins whose round-trip cost is too high |
| Bridge fees | Relay, on a `/bridge`. Shown as "Relay fee" in the quote |

**Withdrawals and bridging carry no MoFo fee.** You pay only the network fee, so keep a little of the chain's native coin (SOL, BNB, ETH, or USDC on Arc) in the wallet to cover it.

On small copies these costs can add up to more than MoFo's 1%. That's worth knowing before you size a $2 trade.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Gas-sponsored USDC trading is coming soon.** When it's live, MoFo will cover the network fee on USDC trades. It isn't available yet, and every trade pays its own network fee today.
{% endhint %}

## Referral share

Part of MoFo's fee goes to whoever referred you. It comes out of what MoFo keeps, so your fee is the same 1% either way. See [Referrals](/referrals.md).
